Fee Schedule for The Purring Parrot

Check in and out times are between 10-6 Mon- Sat and 11-4 on Sun. Additional charges maybe incurred for early or late check in/ check out. If you need to drop off or pick up outside of posted business hours please call for rates.
Pick up and drop off pets $25 each way within a 10 mile radius from The Purring Parrot. For further distances please call.
Veterinary trips $30 an hour.
Photo email updates $2 a day.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We will not adjust fees during your pets stay. Some items may be seasonal.

CATS
Standard Suites for 1-2 cats are $30 for the first cat and $12 for the second per night.
Deluxe Suites for 3-5 cats are $50 for up to three and $12 for each additional cat per night.
If you would like one of the larger suites for 1-2 cats then the cost is a minimum of $50 per night.

Double- non window suites for 3-5 cats are $63 for up to three and $12 for each additional cat per night

Double Window Suites for 3-5 cats are $69 for up to three and $12 for each additional cat per night.

Prices include daily feedings, playtime, brushing or just hanging out times. Twice daily housekeeping. Reverse-osmosis water with Drinkwell pet fountains, house food, basic toys, a small amount of cat grass, relaxing music, bird watching, scratching trees and or ramps, and a "turn down pillow treat" of catnip. For shy kitties we can provide places to hideout in their suites. Email updates and a daily diary are also included. Adminstration of medications or fluids at no charge unless kitty is fractious, then call for a quote.

****Also included: 24/7 Webcam viewing for each individual suite. Cat parents will be able to log on anytime day or night for unlimited viewing of their kitty. Web cams are equipped with nightvision and pan/tilt movement controlled by viewer. Cameras make no sound while moving so kitty doesn't know they are being watched unless they look right at it and see it move.***

Extra amenities:
Baked chicken or turkey $2 per serving. One serving is about 1oz.
Baked Tuna or Salmon $3 per serving. One serving is about 1 oz.
Paperbag or wrapping tissue to tear up $1

Organic canned tuna or chicken $1 per serving. One serving is 2 tablespoons.

Nail trims, if cats allow $10.
Application of Advantage or Frontline if fleas found $16.
Kitty play kit with several toys including a laser to take home starting at $12.95

Lysine $1 a capsule.

Feliway Comfort Zone Plug for the extra stressed kitty $2/day. Works very well for cats that are extremely shy or stressed.

BIRDS
Tiny birds (Weight 10-50 grams) such as finches, canaries, parrotlets, budgies, etc. are $10 per day.

Small birds (Weight 51-85 grams) such as cockatiels, love birds, Bourke’s, etc. are $13 per day.

Small-Medium birds (Weight 86-200 grams) such as Caiques, conures, lories, senagels, etc. are $16.00 per bird per day.

Medium birds (Weight 201-550 grams) such as African Greys, mini macaws, goffins, amazons, etc. are $19 per bird.

Large Birds (551-1250 grams) such as B&G macaws, military, umbrellas, moluccans, etc. are $21 per bird.

Extra Large Birds (1251-and up grams) such as Greenwing macaws, Hyacinth, etc. $23 per bird.

Prices include twice daily feedings, "out of cage" most of the day or just hanging out one on one times. Reverse-Osmosis water, daily feedings that will include house blend of pellets, seed-nut mix, fresh fruit and veg., cooked grains, sprouts and birdie muffins. Twice daily housekeeping, email/ voicemail updates. Bathing bowl or misting and simple foraging toys. Cooked omelets, veggie burrito, or cookies. We also offer a Bedtime warmed mush treat of banana and sweet potato that is spoon fed each night and birds LOVE IT!

If you forget to bring your bird some toys we have a large variety to purchase for their stay or give us a toy budget and we can create toys for your bird.

Extra amenities for birds:
Vegetable chew and destroy foraging toys, such as bell pepper kabobs filled with treats or a big bunch of greens to shred $3 each.
Elaborate wood chew and destroy toy prices range from $5-$60 each.

We cater to each individual bird guest's personality to make sure they have the best time possible while staying with us. Space is limited so book early.

Reservations, Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Reservations will be accepted but not guaranteed without a credit card deposit
Off Peak season:
A credit card is required to make a reservation. Please see below for our cancellation policy.

Peak seasons:
A credit card or a 25% deposit is required to guarantee a reservation for the following:
Summer/Fall: June 1st‐ Dec 5th
Winter/Spring: Dec 6th‐May 31st
Please notify us 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel your reservation. Otherwise there is a 25% cancellation fee for the number of days booked. Our 48 hour cancellation policy only applies before your cat has checked in.

***If you return home early payment is due in full for the dates reserved and no refund or credit will be issused.***

Peak Holidays:
Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July week, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving week, and Christmas week.
Deposits for peak holidays will be returned if cancellations are made 10 days prior to check‐in date. Otherwise there is a 25% cancellation fee for the number of days booked.

For Dec 20-27 the minimum number of nights to book is 5 nights.

After one cancellation without any notification, such as not showing up for check‐in, all future boarding reservations will require a 50% non‐refundable deposit.
If you return home early payment is due in full for the dates reserved and no refund or credit will be issued. Please cancel well in advance so others may be able to book with The Purring Parrot.

Rates may change with no notice. Rates will not change during your pets stay.
